The Duchess Hare
A hare sits upright in a forest green Elizabethan gown, the sleeves slashed and trimmed with rows of small pearls, both ears alert against a dark olive ground. The face is calm and very slightly amused, the fur painted soft where the light falls and lost entirely in the shadow side. Cool green against warm brown, the coolest and most composed piece in the set.
